As a followup to my last post.... one of the main reasons I am working for Watkins and trying to build a network is because my boss in RELENTLESS... It is Valentines Day AND my anniversary and he has called me twice today and left me a text message with about 1/2 hour of work to do. HELLO, it's my day off... just so you know, he does this daily... not only on weekends and holidays, but evenings too. He is a true workaholic and believes that he is the hardest working person in the world.
In reality, there is nothing that cannot wait until working hours. It is very stressful when the cell phone rings and it's your BOSS calling to have you do something after hours or on the weekend.
I know there is a better way and I'm working toward that. I DO NOT want to be working like this 5 years from now! I have always wanted to work for myself and the only way to do it is to take a chance and dive in!
